Conduct client intake meetings, consultations, and status conferences; research potential claims and draft client opinion letters
Make court appearances to argue motions and conduct post-judgment debtor examinations
Perform asset searches for attachment and collection; effect wage garnishments, bank levies, and foreclosures of judgment and mechanics’ liens; review bankruptcy filings and file proofs of claims
Perform witness interviews; take and defend depositions; lead mediation with client representative
Review property damage claim files and insurance denial letters to evaluate merits of claims; perform cost-benefit analysis of initiating litigation; evaluate, convey, and make pre-trial and post-judgment settlement recommendations to clients
Analyze federal and state law in multiple jurisdictions; draft pleadings, briefs, and motions including those to dismiss, for summary judgment, and for default; draft discovery requests and responses
Review, revise, and draft contracts, promissory notes, operating agreements, leases, and releases
Collaborate with attorneys and partners to develop case management and litigation strategies
